Rural tourism become nowadays an option to enjoy free time right in the nature, at places characterized by the presence of forests, rivers, mountains, and wild flora and fauna.

“La Ahumada” is located in the region of Tarifa, into the “Alcornocales” natural park, where wonderful landscapes of mountains, valleys, water, and the distinguished presence of corktrees, gall-oak and oak forests, and linked brush like “Erica” or “rockrose” can be found.

In this area, classified as SPAB (Special Protection Areas for Birds), we can find resident birds (as for example griffon vultures), and migrants (as for example short-toed eagle, black stork, sparrow hawks, buzzards, etc.)

La Ahumada” has several paths for hiking, cycling, which will allow to find uniques and special places in this natural area. Some ways are possible to go trough by car.

There are approximately 40 houses in “La Ahumada”, dispersed over the public mountain. The distance between our houses and Tarifa is around 12 kilometers.
